Kate McMillan insists on shaking me from my torpor, and has tagged me re. this:

Nothing too impressive, I'm afraid--and the more important question, really, is how long I spent doing each of these--but here you are as well as I can remember:

• Candy bar chappy at the cineplex
• Kelly girl (i.e. a temp)
• Groundskeeping/landscaping for Parks Canada
• Hotel Shipper/Receiver (highly recommended)
• Events grunt and, eventually, sales grunt for a couple of trade shows
• High school English teacher
